"Bark With The Big Dogs"

Ray Wilkes is indeed a multifaceted and talented musician. Some have
called him a "musical enigma," which is understandable in light of his
life time of highly diverse musical experience.

Ray began his lengthy career when he started playing guitar at the age
of nine. As early as junior high school his talents were sought after by
local rhythm and blues bands, and he spent his weekends on the regional
nightclub circuit. In the seventies, after completing musical studies in college,
Ray engaged in several years of extensive professional touring. Ray
has also performed on stage with such notable artists as Debbie
Reynolds, Gloria Loring, and the Average White Band. At one
time he was featured soloist with the Norfolk Symphony Orchestra.

Ahead of his time, Ray also spent time on his own original material.
In 1980 his jazz album, the critically acclaimed "Dark Blue Man" was
released. That project provided Ray the opportunity to showcase the
highly aesthetic side of his evolving musical personality, along with
his exceptional talents as a performing artist and composer.

And now, in the nineties, Ray has heeded the call to return to his
musical roots, and the work he does best. As s result, he has teamed
up with several very talented friends to deliver his hottest product yet,
entitled "Bark with the Big Dogs." This project, marks the latest giant
step taken along the path of this dynamic musician - a true journeyman
guitarist, vocalist, composer, arranger and producer!
